| What is an “Inner Islander?” |
It is a voice inside us that whispers to escape the stress of everyday life and head to the islands. To relax, feel the ocean breeze, let our hair down – and become a local.
We asked our Divi timeshare owners to share with us their inner islander voices and tell us why they decided to join the Divi family and what timeshare ownership means to them.
To say the least, we were overwhelmed with photos and letters from owners sharing their personal Divi journeys. We were quite impressed with the amount of enthusiasm and creativity that owners put into entering the contest. Though deciding our winners was extremely tough based on the great response we received, we did manage to narrow it down.
Five Divi timeshare owners shared their inner islander stories with us and became the faces of Divi. Take a moment to meet them and learn how they decided to become a Divi owner.
Join us for our next contest and share the “Inner Islander” voice in you!

| 1) Zoey & Jim Wood-Salomon - Ontario, Canada | | “Since we became a part of the Divi Family we travel to Barbados every other year. We are from Northern Ontario in Canada where the temperatures go as low as minus 40 degrees F. At these times we take out our photos of our Divi Experience and let our “Inner-Islander” take us away to our tropical paradise of sun, sand, surf, flora, food and wonderful people.” |
| 2) Carol & Ken Larsen - New Jersey | | “We purchased at the newest Divi property, sight unseen, a golf villa at the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort. We did everything over the phone and by Federal Express. It was painless and exciting. Needless to say, we could not have made a better choice.” |
| 3) Leah & Charlie Howard - Virginia | | “Each year we are welcomed by the wonderful people at
Divi Little Bay and feel that we step back in place at a home
away from home.” |
| 4) Dorothea & Edward Hives - Ohio | | “What makes being a Divi timeshare owner so great for us is that for the fifty weeks we are not enjoying our timeshare, we are thinking about our past vacation and planning for the next.” |
| 5) Maureen Farrell-Kenny & Alan Kenny - New York | | “My husband and I began our life together at Divi and we look forward to raising our children and growing old together with Divi as a part of our lives.” |
