What is Vacation Ownership?

Vacation ownership, also called Interval ownership or
timeshare, allows you to purchase a deluxe resort
apartment for only the time you plan to use it.

For example, after visiting a Divi Resort, select a favorite
suite with the size and amenities to best suit your family,
and then choose a season when you are most likely to
vacation. You then purchase that suite for the week or
weeks you plan to occupy it. You now own valuable ocean-
front vacation property without the exorbitant costs typically
associated with such a purchase.

Hotel nightly rates vary dramatically depending upon loca-
tion, season, and demand, and are subject to yearly infla-
tion. With vacation ownership, you pay for your week
upfront with minimal annual maintenance fees (costs asso-
ciated with maintaining the property).
Too often we become so busy that we neglect to plan vacations
with friends and family. Vacations are valuable and needed–an
opportunity to relax and connect with loved ones. Divi vacation
ownership contracts are sold in 40-year increments, therefore
committing you to at least one week of relaxation per year.

Timeshare suites are often double to triple the size of tradi-
tional hotel rooms, and are equipped with all the comforts of
home, including kitchens, separate sleeping areas, and
private balconies.
Timeshare owners can choose to use their week at Divi Resorts,
or trade it for a stay at one of over 3,000 resorts worldwide. You
can also "accelerate" your week–meaning you can borrow from
future years to create a longer vacation stay.
